Of course I give it 5 stars - it's the home of the Hornets! As football grounds go, it has everything a visitor needs and prices for tickets are reasonable. Parking on match days is awful and if you park in the town centre multi-storey car parks, be prepared for a long queue to get out. Better to park farther out and either get the bus in to town or, even better, walk.
Argyle on tour!! Our first match back in The Championship after 13yrs. And what a super stadium to start our new adventure. It has changed greatly since my last visit so long ago and is now a very smart compact arena. The concourse is a bit tight but the friendliness of the stewards and the overall experience was amazing. It was an incredible atmosphere with over 2k Argyle fans and we came away with a creditable draw against an ex Premier league team. Roll on Leicester and Leeds ...and Southampton.....wow.....its going to be a great campaign !!!
Not the best away end. Very small. No alcohol served. Not allowed out at half time break. Stewards very strict with multiple ticket checks. Good view close to the pitch. Not a bad stadium. Also liked Vicarage Road. Even got the hornet mascot banging a drum
21/5/22 Invited to an end of season football team event by Denham United. Pretty much given free rein to go wherever I wanted within reason. It’s a great ground and first time I’ve been here in almost 20 years. The staff that were there were very helpful and friendly.
Incredible stadium with easy access as well as having a very close view of the pitch and football action
