We had such a lovely stay recently at Watertop Farm. There was so much to do and see, the amazing walks, the go-carts, table tennis, cottage museum, the animals etc. Kids didn't want to leave. Patsy was a pure gentleman, there if you needed anything but didn't bother you otherwise. We would highly recommend this farm for an excellent camping trip.
This was our second camping stay at Watertop farm. It's a stunning spot, beautiful walks, great facilities and our son had a blast. So much for children to do as well as being able to see all the animals. Patsy is a gentleman and AJ loved watching him drive the tractor. See you next year. Dan, Frankie and Anthony James.
Great place to go camping. 4 stars only because most all the kids entertainment facilities are now out of action due to lockdown having affected the owners and staff etc. This will suit some families more than others who just want to spend time together by the tent and around the campfire and amuse themselves using good old imagination and board games etc. Otherwise five stars
Great we stay, lots to do, nice scenery, walks and things to do at night including the wee museum with the old in tact fireplace. The hosts are very informative and give a real good welcome feeling. Would be great for kids with the assault course and peddle buggy track, also a nice little waterfall, definitely recommend
Our second time staying in Watertop farm and we love it. Patsy is a gentleman, very polite and helpful. Scenery is beautiful, the layout is amazing and the toilet/shower area is very clean. The walks are very good and the waterfall walk is perfect. We can’t wait to get back to relax and to also see Rex we’d highly recommend watertop farm for a relaxing camping trip.
Fantastic farm and perfect for a family day out. We were there today. Lots to see and do. There's animals such as goats, sheep, chickens ,rabbits ,cats, donkey, theres activities such as pony treking, go karting, quad train, boating lake, lovely scenic walks, and you can also camp/caravan as well. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend visiting .
This is a beautiful farm to put your tent and enjoy the view around you
Watertop farm is aimed at small children and very reasonably priced for admission, which included a play on the go karts and 9 hole mini golf. It's a small site on a large farm so there are options for short or long walks of you don't fancy a ride around the farm. It's not high tech but it is good fun for children and looks like a good place to camp or caravan to really enjoy the facilities. Just make sure you bring something to deter the midgies.
We went when it was wet but made the most of it. We did the hike on the horse which was amazing also kids loved the go karts. The wee cafe was cheap and cheerful. The only thing that ruins it is that u have to pay for all the activities on top of the admission fee.
It's our first visit to Watertop Farm and we just love it, it's gorgeous!! We'll certainly be back
