Welcoming, bright and well laid out bookshop with lovely, informed and helpful staff - a delight to browse and spend money in. It’s also dog-friendly, complete with a water bowl near new fiction if your dog is of a literary bent.
I visited this store today to browse the products, was welcomed by Simon who I think is the store manager who helped me find what I was looking for. The lady behind the till was polite and the store was very clean and we'll presented. Will be shopping here again.
What's not to love about spending as much time as you like in a Waterstones. The guy working in the Richmond store during our visit was really knowledgeable, obviously busy but friendly and chilled. Needless to say we stayed long enough to choose/buy several books. Pure indulgence.
The guys in this store are so helpful , I ask them if they could get science revision cards for my daughter for her GCSEs,not only did they manage to get them they also arrived next day ,Simon is amazing thank you so much I now have a happy daughter ,will definitely use Waterstones Dorking again fantastic service
I love paperbacks! It was such a joy to request and receive invaluable help with choosing books for 2 teenagers who have given up on reading. I spoke with a genuinely friendly and supportive associate who guided me with perfect choices. Both my children got stuck straight in to their books! Thank you!
Friendly staff and a cosy feel. However, I always seem to struggle to get online purchases from the Click and Collect service offered on the main website. They also organise some fab little events Harry Potter evenings and the like which makes it feel more like a community bookshop than just another chain.
Brilliant bookshop. Full of amazing books and hidden treasures. Such a lovely and calm atmosphere. Support your local bookshop! You'll miss them when they are gone.
