Massive selection! The store was tidy and welcoming. Very impressive range of books in the teen and childrens areas.

I love this Waterstones. I've gone at least a few times a year for over 10 years now. Apart from simply having a genuinely nice atmosphere, they have also always had really great staff. It's been very rare that they don't have a book I wanted in stock, but when they haven't, they have ordered a copy for me to collect or be delivered quickly and without any problems. The cafe upstairs is also a really nice spot, it's a little expensive but not by much. I used to visit back in university if I fancied somewhere less student-y to study as the bookish environment always made me feel more academic.

This is a wonderful place!! I'm American so my comparison to this store is Barnes and Noble. You're definitely paying more for books but there are usually unique covers or special editions. They also have a wonderful app that is super user-friendly.

Fantastic book shop A The staff are very helpful taking you directly to what you are looking for and will order if not in stock. Set over 3 to 4 floors everything from childrens educational adult and much much more, there are little toys pens and gifts available. There is a coffe shop/ cafe .

Lovely well thought out bookstore. Staff were extremely helpful when I couldn’t find a book I was after and they took the time to check it was in stock and show us where it was. Good prices too especially if on BOGO half price etc. Great for coffee too if you wish there’s a little shop upstairs.

Great book shop/library with nice tables to sit and read. Also lots of room there with 3 floors! So many sections to find the perfect book for you and an overall extraordinary place.

Waterstones is a great chain of bookshops, and somehow every branch I visit seems to have its own character. The Leeds branch is no exception, a thoughtfully laid out book shop, and I was delighted to see how busy it was when I visited, very reassuring to see people buying and reading physical books in this digital age. I was also taken with the shelves of original Penguin classic paperbacks, ageing very gracefully amongst all the more modern offerings.

Just turned up at your store at 18.36 and you are closed! It says on Google that you are supposed to be open until 19.30. Could you update your information so I don't waste my time in future please. I was looking forward to buying a book in person, but it looks like it will have to be an online purchase.

Small 1st floor cafe space in the midst of a beautiful bookshop. The usual selection of espresso based drinks, teas and snacks. Friendly staff and a comfortable environment. Lift access within shop provides level access, and lack of division between bookshop and cafe gives it a flexible, welcoming feel.

Huge range of books. Cafe inside. Really helpful and friendly staff. If you can't find a book you're looking for you can order it there. You can spend hours in this shop without getting bored.
