Can't recommend highly enough Fantastic knowledge and helpful staff They overheard my daughter talking about an author and they were quick to point out all other newest editions that were on sale ,save lots of time and had a great chat with them about upcoming books

I picked up a book to read the first few pages, I went to a corner and began reading. An employee came up to me and said excuse me so I happily let them passed, they then said that when this shop is busy then there isn’t enough space and you have to move out the way, I was a bit weirded out but shrugged it off and kept reading, then the same employee says are you going to buy that book and I say well I’d like to read a few pages first they then say well it’s quite busy so you need to move for other people. Embarrassed I put the book back and left safe to say I’m impressed especially sconce the people in there are usually quite nice.
Staff are incredibly friendly, and extremely helpful. Shop is spotless, and well-stocked. I had ordered an item to collect, and the whole process was very simple from start to finish. Recommend highly
I regularly have to stop myself from visiting this bookshop more often than I do for fear of my book collection growing out of control! The shop is lovely, well organised, clean and very well laid out. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always able to recommend a good book if unsure what to pick. The employees know there stuff and it clear they have a passion for books which is just great.

Waterstones in Newton Mearns is a great place to shop for books. The staff are very friendly and helpful and in the past have given me useful recommendations when struggling to buy gifts for others. The shop is small but well worth a visit if you are in the Avenue shopping centre.
Actually love this shop, Craig is amazing with my wee girl who has FASD, so much patience and nothing's a bother, he fusses over her and makes it a welcome experience for her! The shop is well stocked, with beautiful displays that are eye catching and the staff are lovely and helpful! Thank you
