Spend hrs to get through and no appointments and then get told you get to see a doctor in over a weeks time. If you are lucky to see a nurse they tell you to turn up on time then sit for a hour and then when asked they say they are running late but don't do nothing and when you are needing to get back to work they don't care. Absolutely disgusting how it's run now. Ended up nearly loosing my job after waiting and still not seen for a serious problem, so had to leave not seeing anyone. Time for a new doctor surgery as this place has gone down hill and disgrace
I wanted to say thank you to Dr Akerman and her colleagues at the Waterside Health Centre.I visited yesterday following a booked appointment, Dr Akerman is caring ,sensitive and considerate to her clients needs. We all understand the continued pressures in health care , but i was not rushed and made to feel so comfortable. Thank you Waterside Health Centre.
Following my 97 year old uncle's discharge from hospital - tried to get a referral to the Frailty team - my experience with the receptionist on trying to leave a message was simple 'no care in the world - I cannot help you. Will be contacting the CCG instead. As a pharmacist I am v reluctant to say ill other HCPs but cannot defend this behaviour.
The Drs here don't seem to like patients very much! Such an inconvenience - maybe the wrong career choice? Avoid if you can.
Worst place i swear, reception are the only nice people expect i water an hour for an emergency appointment and then was told it wasn’t one and they didn’t help me one but the doctors there are awful says it all.
Been trying to visit the surgery several times during their advertised late opening hours to pick up a form for a blood test
Absolutely awful practice - nobody answering the phones - how can you be number 12 waiting for 15 minutes and not move???
