Beautiful water lilies of many different colours amongst other tropical plants and flowers! One of the best features of Kew Garden - must see!
Waterlily House is a small, but charming greenhouse Kew Gardens. Inside there is a pond of about 15 metres in diameter containing as the name of the glasshouse suggests, waterlilies, but also lotus, ferns, papyrus and others that I've got no chance of identifying. The pond is surrounded by a perimeter of maybe half a metre wide to walk around and the pat is covered with all sorts of plants hanging from the ceiling. Everything looks so perfect, you'll have no trouble finding a postcard picture perfect photo.

Cracking, must visit for all those who love a pond. I would recommend walking round the back to see some of the beautiful and rare trees!
Stunning little place, extremely humid so visit on a day you can tolerate it. However, worth the display of so many water lilies, but many other plants too.

Stunning. A very small green house with giant water lilies. It is really hot and humid inside, still so worth it for a quick look.
Very hot on a summer's day, but worth having a look and walking around the pond.
A lot smaller and more cramped than I was expecting, but lots of variety crammed in. Also not as humid as I was expecting. Definitely a highlight at Kew.
You cannot go to The Royal Botanical Gardens of Kew without stepping into this luxurious wee heated conservatory! As you step into it's annex you get the most glorious odour of moist jungle and pond I love this smell. To either side of the entrance is a wee planted pond. Going into the main area you are greeted with an immense circular pond with an array of circular lily pads almost always some will be in flower, from wee to mahoosive. Reflected are the fantastic engineering skills of the metalwork that holds up the ceiling. Pin pricked by the ripples of wee tropical fish mouthing the surface water. In each corner of the conservatory is another wee planted pond. Flanked all the way around these and the entire conservatory are flowering plants. And above each of the corner ponds is a magnificent planted basket. Very rarely crowded at the best of times. And to my mind, it is my favourite of all the conservatories within Kew Gardens.
