Very nice coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating out the back near to the river. Service is a bit slow but staff are very well organised from a Covid point of view. They take your details, wear masks and thoroughly clean tables after use. Food was well prepared. Toilets inside upstairs were very clean.
Lovely tea room with beautiful scenery and great location. We ordered tea for 2 and a cheese scone which was very enjoyable. The service was slightly slow however this was understandable as it was very busy and they had customers waiting for a table
Excellent food and drink, very well staffed and clean and tidy to covid standards.

stopped for a coffee and scone today. Both excellent and a pleasant setting overlooking the river. All covid precautions appear to be in place and everything is 50% off
I never have a bad word to say about Watergate. The prices are good, the quality is excellent and the staff are always friendly. It's a really relaxing environment and I love to just sit on my own, in a corner with a cup of tea and a scone it's got to be clotted cream and jam!
Food and service excellent as always, but especially in these strange times, came with my daughter-in-law and had really good breakfasts, thank you Watergate and stay safe
