Probably the worse bus station I have been too. No shelter from the rain as the seats inside get wet due to the gap. Nowhere for a drink. One Toilet available for a few hours if you travel after 4pm it's shut. None of the timetable displays work as they are always out of order and buses may or may not turn up due to driver shortage and incompetence with timetable and no consideration for passengers trying to get 2 buses in the morning as you have a minute to run for it if your bus isn't late and then a 30 minute wait for maybe another to possibly turn up.
Buses appear to stop anywhere ,not at the bays designated for their service number. Most visual displays of departures are not working
If you want to get anywhere local, this is your best bet. Fairly easy to find your way around, a phone helps. Design is a bit strange, but for Chatham, probably needed something new other than the Pentagon, which needs to be knocked down and rebuilt too , most of Medway badly needs it.
Just about usable no notices up saying smoking in public places is not good and illegal.
A great place to get comfortable public buses to get around town and most of Kent
