Waterfront Bus Station is a true “masterpiece” of British public transport. Buses never arrive on time, and the drivers apparently treat their job as a prison sentence – only instead of a bracelet, they have a seat behind the wheel.nnPassengers get soaked in the rain, freeze in the cold, while drivers read a newspaper, chat with each other, or just wait for their “magical departure time” to strike. Punctuality? Professionalism? Caring about passengers? Pure abstraction.nnToday I was late for an urgent doctor’s appointment because three buses didn’t show up at all, and the fourth finally arrived just to end its route. When I finally got on, the driver announced that he was finishing here and going home. Because, of course, passengers are just part of the scenery.nnIn conclusion: if you’re looking for a way to be late, get soaked, and experience absolute unprofessionalism – Waterfront Bus Station is the perfect place. Punctuality, courtesy, respect for people? Completely missing from the menu.

This bus stop is rather concerning.nnWhilst I tried to take part in my hobby of bus surfing. My huge blooming underwear suddenly expanded, whilst on top of an arriva double decker bus.nnThe result was not pretty.nnPicture this, my skiddy breaches ballooning across the A4 as wind and other unmentionable were flung through the UK.nnThargyle found this funny, but my dear friend Nimrod supported me greatly.nnNot good place for bus surfing, overall an upsetting experience

Probably the worst bus service you're ever going to experience. Screens around the stops are now redundant as they don't display timetables anymore, forcing you to use the app. You know what that means? That bus that you just spent 30 mins waiting for that got cancelled?nnYeah, you don't find out until the one after it shows up.nnDespicable. The whole of Chatham is centered around this service yet it is barely functional. Top it off with rude drivers and you might as well just walk.

Nice and modern Bus station. I use it often when I have to go to other town in the area. Its really convenient and its really close to Chatham high street. Its sad too see that less and less people are using busses this days.

The bus station itself is great, pretty modern too, however the area isn't the best and the buses are usually late, and there aren't any toilets. But it's a good station with a lot of seats too.
