Established in 1977 it was at these very premises that the Balti method of cooking was introduced to Britain. We take great pride in this fact and our aim is to always serve the highest quality Authentic Balti Cuisine.

Story

The Authentic Balti served here at Waterfront have been created with an exotic collection of herbs and spices distinctively blended in the traditional ways of Northern Kashmir. Our menu has also been modified to suit the different tastes of our ever increasing clientèle, from Kumar for those who prefer a mild dish to the Masala for the more experienced Balti eaters. For the daring diner, there is the Vindaloo and vegetarians will also find plenty to tempt them. Adil continues to maintain its unique, original style of cooking with a reliability that encourages our clients to return regularly. After all, Original is the best.

Because some of information on the Internet doesn't get deleted or worse it is confused, this restaurant was previously known as the Waterfront Balti. Soha took it over some time back and it's now unrecognisable. Smart decor, clean with a 5* Food Hygiene Certificate, excellent staff but more importantly the food is faultless. Soha can cook! Well at least in my opinion. The chicken tikka Desi karai I had tonight was one of the most flavoursome dishes I have had in years. Indeed it prompted me to write this review as soon as I got home. If your are tempted, it's hot and spicy but be sure to ask for it with less oil. OK this may be less authentic but at least it's better for the waist line. You can take your own alcohol and there is ample parking outside the door. I have been back a few times since the above post, and am still a fan of the food but I suggest that part of the dining area needs to be tidied up to make it more 'comfortable'.
As you walk in there is a motorbike dumped in the restaurant like someone had come to work on it, not exactly great for custom. Also, we were the only people inside, the lady that served us was really nice. We asked for the offer they have advertised on the window 5 courses for £14.95, what they don’t put on the poster is that 90% of the menu isn’t included. Moving onto the food, it was really poor my curry had a funny taste and smell to it, not sure what it was but couldn’t eat it. My friends ordered a Pathia curry but it was more like a Midras out of a jar! So watery.
Didn't have high expectations but reviews were good so we gave it a go, so so pleased we did food was amazing service first class and value for money outstanding will definitely go back Vegetarian options: One of the best vegi dish's I had for a long while
I phoned and ordered for collection. I ordered tawa for 2 and 2 cans of coke. I was charge £17.15, but on menu it say tawa for 2 is £12.99 it also states on menu 10% off collection orders. I was over charged as the tawa for 2 is only £12.99 so basically was charged £4.16 for 2 cans of coke also didn't receive no 10% off even though I collected like it states on menu. Food was nice but don't know weather I will be going back as I am not happy being overcharged and with false advertising.
I've never been to the physical location but I ordered through just eat and it came right on time. Didn't even have to re-heat. I purchased 5 burgers for my family and a roll for myself. I struggled to finish that which is a good thing since I have a large appetite. I went for the mixed option which had very nice portion sizes. Maybe next time I'll try the 1/2 pounder. The cheese was a nice touch that made it more filling. I wasn't aware it came with sauces but that was cool. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the white one was mayonnaise. The way the BBQ sauce was put on the roll made it look quite nice. Very professional looking. Another reviewer said there was no atmosphere...but that can't really be helped with all the social distancing. A bit of non-lyrical background music might help. Something like a non-copyright sounds playlist with calm music in it. Maybe I'll visit the place with my family sometime...most likely will order again though. If I can enjoy food and other things while I'm at it, that's a bonus.
Used to go here when it was waterfront balti, the last time we went was awful, it has since changed hands and is now called sohas, so me and the wife decided to give it another go, I'm so glad we did because it was absolutely beautiful, service was great and really looked after us, the restaurant has had a full makeover and looks really nice now, I had chicken tikka starter and the wife had samosas, the starters where gorgeous and beautifully presented, we both had chicken balti mains with fried rice and chips and i couldn't fault it one bit, a lovely coffee after our meal and can say we where both really happy with the meal and service and will definitely be back, 5 stars
As you can see from the images a distance view the restaurant looks great however when you look closer at the tables pixtured it was clear that the table cloths haven't been changed in a while as there was food on them. Today I went to this restaurant with a large party. We booked ahead to ensure they could cater for us all. After nearly 3 hours of waiting, most of the party still hadn't received even a starter let alone their main. When the food eventually started to arrive it was of fair quality however due to the slow service it still meant that a large number of our guests were unable to eat and ended up leaving the restaurant after 11 p.m. without having eaten. I have visited this restaurant several times before and each time have been very disappointed with the quality of service and quality of food. Whilst today's quality of food has been better than previous visits, the service remains the same. There is wheelchair access to this restaurant. And around 10 to 15 parking spaces directly out front for the restaurant.

Had a takeaway the food was delicious. It was delivered before time stated and was piping hot. Did have a slight mix up on ordered but it was sorted straight away. Will definitely order from here again. Thank youFood: 5/5
