On the outskirts of Bury next to Junction 2 of the M66 motorway, our Farmhouse Inn is one of the most family-friendly pubs around. 11/05/24: looking forward to another epic breakfast! 01/05/24: Too Good To Go: Hot Breakfast. Self-service, good selection of hot breakfast items, large box to fill, £2.99, amazing value for money. Dining in would have been £7.50 for the same breakfast and a 3rd less items. Would really recommend the TGTG Scheme.
This chip shop supper was superb, probably best meal I've eaten from here, only fault in my opinion is I wasn't keen on the battered sausage, only because of the sausage as I love battered sausage usually. The curried chicken skewer was ok, maybe was cooked a little more than usual but that's probably won't happen next time. Deffo recommend the chip ship supper and the price was great too.
Needs some moderation. Looking tired inside. Food off the menu is basic microwave meals. Cavery has always been nice. Prices not too bad. Staff pleasant and helpful. Parking: Infront and sides of building. Well lit and easy to access the building.
Amazing food and service was extremely quick and server was an absolute delight to talk to. They helped with Any queries we had and was very well knowledged. I would also like to add about the children's play area in which my children were allowed to roam safely whilst we watched nearby, letting them immerse themselves in the new equipment that has been placed by the restaurant. All in all amazing family pub and extremely good grub. Definitely more trips planned going ahead.
Probably one of the worst plates of food I have ever eaten. Meat dry as an old boot, roast potatoes undercooked on the inside but burnt on the outside. Parsnips basically raw, gravy was thin as anything and everything was cold. It really tasted like they had been reheating the same food for days. Got a cake to take away and it looks nothing like the display. See pictures of what we ordered Vs what we got.
Myself and my partner visited for some food and stayed for the quiz night. We had the mixed grill with peppercorn sauce and chicken goujon bap. Delicious food and quick service. We followed this with a giant chocolate eclair and a slice of Mars attack cake. Huge, delicious and great value for money. The quiz made a great atmosphere and we had a lovely evening. Thank you to all of the staff.
We have our tea at Waterfold Farm on a Wednesday most weeks. The carvery is very good and great value for money. Seeing the lovely Pam is the highlight of our visit - she is so friendly and goes out of her way to make sure we have everything we need - great service and always with a smile!Food: 4/5
Family meet up of 10 of us on the 23rd December, excellent service, our meals were pre ordered, tasty & came out altogether. Staff were so on the ball, pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere was so easy going & Christmassy. Will go again. Happy New Year to you all.Food: 5/5
The food is hot and tastes delicious, we had the breakfast so much to choose from. The staff are excellent with big smiles and so friendly, overall a great experience with the bonus of full bellys. Special shout out to vaun so happy and jolly this lady is a credit to your establishment she really made our morning and left us smiling from ear to ear , thank you vaun for making our morning so much brighter xx
Went for lunch yesterday. Was very impressed with everything. Food cleanliness atmosphere service it was great. Tony the new tenant introduced himself a great young man with everything it takes to run a great place. Very attentive. The cake away selection is also a massive must. We will be returning also recommending this gem to all our friends.
