1st time visiting the park since we moved here,took grandaughter she loved it , so many things for the little one's
Definitely much could be done for this place I think the public of waterbeach deserves more entertainment,this village has great people we need better or more things in the park to entertain our young children,sports etc more can be done. Food places and different activities.
Has a loo not open all the time, good childrens play area fenced off from the main park. Good skateboarding section, and big grass areas. Also has some outdoor exercise equipment spread around the park - good for circuits. Recently gained a zip line for younger kids older ones would probably be too heavy and a couple of tables tennis tables as well. Good car park, though can be busy if there is an event of any sort on.
It’s a great recreation ground. Children’s play area, skateboard/bike area, tennis courts, basketball court, bowling green cricket pitch, cricket nets, outdoor fitness equipment, football pitches, zip wire and a Tillage Hall. And right next to the Roman Canal and stables. Can’t beat it really
Beautiful park. You wouldn't expect the green scenery during the fall, but here it is, a contrast green grass versus the yellowish leaves of the trees.
