If ordering a take away, this is, in my opinion the best local one. Have used them for years, tried others, but always go back to water margin. Usually quick service, freshly cooked.

Place has served generations of p*ss heads to whom food is just a vehicle to end a good night and that is reflected in the quality. It's basic, no probs with quality, small servings and more importantly OVERPRICED. I haven't eaten in the restaurant, looks sorta dark and dingy, the price would put me off.

Used to be such a great takeaway but recently it's been very disappointing each time I've been. Recently ordered sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, beef in pepper and black bean sauce and egg fried rice: chicken was very over cooked and sauce was a bit strong. Beef was fishy almost, very chewy and covered in a thick layer of slime almost. Egg fried rice was ok. Disappointing especially for a Friday night.

Very very bad food. Undercooked. Curry sauce got no spice to it what's so ever. I've had a korma hotter than there curry sauce. Prawn toast was like drinking a bottle of olive oil it was that bad. Rice was just poor as well. I would recommend to avoid if possible even if they mention they only use top top quality ingredients that cost around 30% more than a supermarket and bin there over 20 years. If that's the case I expect one hell of a lot more than what you provide for a meal
