Ok I know I say this a lot but this is definitely my favourite place. Firstly Google takes you to a tiny car park about 10 spaces worth but it's free. The road is also free for parking and it's not busy at all which is another bonus. When you enter the woodland you'll see a big track. Cyclists do use this track however, off this there are lots of trails you can take which are much nicer, picturesque and so tranquil. So why not try one of them. We've seen few that are clearly bikers trails as they got them weeuuuu inclines and swirls so avoid them and you're good to go. On one side of the woodland there are pastures with sheepsies and horses so be mindful of this if you got curious doggies. Other than that grab your wellies or walking boots, a drink and few sarnies and go adventuring, this place is massive!!!
Picturesque and tranquil woodland. Ideal place for walks. Splendid vistas. Polish Cross Memorial commemorating No 300 Masovian Squadron RAF airmen is located there.
You can spend very long time in there walking around. Great views from the top on a clear day which is a about 140 meters above sea level
Always quiet and peaceful up here, a couple of early morning dog walkers and that’s about it. Also bonus - loads of piles of loose rocks and stones suitable for rock painting.
Great spot for walking and cycling
