Beautiful Temple lovely people so happy to have been there, I will definitely go again, had an amazing time there and felt so relaxed
Had a brief visit and chat with lovely people there. Havn't seen a monk yet but will be back again.
Lanna+LanChang style temple in northwestern, please do visit here, nice people to talk with, or Dharma's chat with monks who understand Bhudda teaching. New temple-hall to be build next to it.
I'll have a pint of lager, please - and a pack of flakies
Visited today with my Buddhist friend. I cannot imagine a more sympathetic and gentle welcome. The building has been beautifully restored inside and has it's own fascinating history whilst housing a beautiful Buddhist shrine inside. The monks and staff made us feel very at home and allowed us to share their delicious food and explore their lovely temple. Our thanks for a memorable morning and outstanding hospitality. I hope to revisit soon.
nice temple, we visited for thod kathin with my wife and son last year. there was even a festival outside selling food, clothing, gifts etc. It was the first time my wife had visited Wat outside of Thailand and really enjoyed it.
My wife is a bhuddist and we have looked for a good temple for her to visit since we moved from near London a few years ago without much success until we found this temple. The people here are really friendly and laid back. I love visiting these temples with her as the culture is so different, every one shares whatever they have on the day and no one is judged. This temple is a prime example of the bhuddist culture.
Will always be known as The Archer!
Met some of the Monks in Liverpool city centre and took up their invitation to visit. On the first occasion I visited, the Monks i had met were out of town but the young Monk I did speak to was so gentle and charming. I was shocked by the racism of a local man I had a casual conversation with. A bit difficult to find-I asked at the Thai massage parlour for directions. Sometime later I visited again but due to a meeting no Monks were available. However, the cleaner ?, a Thai lady, was so kind & welcoming to me. She gave me a bottle of water for the journey home. Highly recommended for the casual and curious visitor as it is for the Dharma practitioner. Highly recommended...
Lovely temple with very pleasant atmosphere, and attendees. The monks are very friendly and welcoming. The temple community is mainly Thai, but plenty of other nationalities of Buddhist devotees attend too.
