I still discover and have lots of enthusiasm for visiting places with fantastic looking food. The pulled pork on flat bread with veg and spice. Coffee was special, with a glass of water. Would i come back, well already suggested to friend to come here.
The best coffee shop in town. As I approached Warwick Street Kitchen I couldn’t help but notice the lack of available seating inside as lunchtime approached. Staff were slaloming in and out of the kitchen and groups happily socialised in its depths. It was like watching a duck paddle upstream. On the surface, it was calm and graceful, beneath the legs were frantically moving. I noticed a staff member at the counter make a minor adjustment to the grinder settings as I took her attention. She was all smiles, and took the time to have a chat with me. Did you know they have sister cafes in Birmingham Saint’s Kitchen and Warwick? I ordered my usual Flatwhite with Oat Milk. It looked as great as it tasted. Beautiful.
Brunch menu is creative and varied, good vegetarian options. Only feedback is give is maybe include something sweet on there ? Like pancakes or french toast. Food was a little on the spicy side for my taste but flavours were original and I liked seeing new things on a brunch menu for a change. Also had a cinnamon pecan roll from the cake counter. Sooo delicious will be back for this roll!
Sadly, a place we had picked across the road had ‘stopped cooking’ at 3 so despite a lure of delicious and decadent ‘drinks and cakes’, I wanted something savoury for a late lunch so we gave WSK a look to be made extremely welcome. They had me at poached eggs, the dish I ate was served on sourdough bread with a spicy tomato based glaze and other fixingsforgot to write the name down, we also were served a delicious vegan wrap, again mildly but not overly spiced, chicken souvlaki on peta bread with trimmings such as houmous, tomato and feta cheese , and sourdough toast with butter and jam. They do a variety of teas with dairy and non dairy milk, a great cappuccino, and hot chocolates described as ‘the best’ by junior members of our party. Well worth the unplanned visit. We’ll be back.
Really nice flat white and apple crumble blondie, staff were really friendly and welcoming. Found it a little loud for studying as my table was very close to the people next to me who were talking very loudly - I'd rather that than no seats though so can't complain too much! Just something to bare in mind. Will definitely come back, just maybe not to study at peak time
Delicious sausage brioche baps, although a bit pricey even by Leamington standards. The staff are efficient, really friendly and smiley. This seems to be a dog-friendly place which may not be an attractive feature to everyone.Food: 5/5
5 star brunch, different in the best possible way. Coffee was also very tasty and the clementine loaf was perfect to complete our meal. Very friendly staff too, thank you!
Fabulous coffee, food, and service. This would be a five star review, except it’s very noisy due to stark minimal style and bad acoustics.
I went here on my friend’s suggestion. Unfortunately it was an absolute disappointment. The interior felt cozy but the drinks were very very cold. Outside was raining and it was pretty cold. So we dropped in to order some hot drinks to warm us up. Unfortunately the hot chocolate I order and my friend ordered a latte it was so cold that you could sip it all down in one go. And half of the cup was filled with foam. Despite I had not requested any cream or such so I didn’t know why it was like this. Nonetheless, the cup was half empty. The apple crumble donut was nice but slightly dry. Thought the drinks were so cold whilst we were in the restaurant. It makes me wonder how cold it would arrive if you ordered on deliveroo. As a delivery driver myself I would not recommend this cafe place. Specially for delivery. Unless you want frozen drinks.
Favourite Sunday brunch spot!! Love the chai lattes and vegan options- such great flavours The only slight criticism is the vegan options on the menu taste quite similar, so going for 2 different and sharing isn’t as exciting as going for 2 largely contrasting options. Also would be lovely to see more vegan baked goods in the glass cabinets as they look super tasty!
