Wow. Probably rhe best castle I have ever visited, it's fully open to the public for touring, the shows that are put on are top drawer and my highlight of the day was the Falconers quest, this show was absolutely world class.nI would definitely visit here again.nWe stopped over in the Warwick hotel and this was just as good, very clean, probably as it had only been open 5 days.nRooms were spacious and could sleep up to 5.nGreat for young children upto 10 years old for Zog and horrible histories maze.
Perfect day out or a couple of nights for family or friends. Would recommend more than a day as you would be rushing around too much
Firstly this is less a castle more a stately home now transforming into a holiday resort. The castle has the original fortifications which are a joy to walk around. However, the steps are steep and cramped. The inner building is more a stately home, be nonetheless are pleasant to visit. I recommend waiting for a tour to properly appreciate the narrative of the rooms. We actually took in the castle in the second half of the day after watching the jousting show my teenage son enjoyed it more than me and the falconry show which I really loved. The car park is about 15 minutes' walk away from the castle with a fee which is fine as the castle is protected from traffic. Accommodation is available on site but I found one day sufficient.

An amazing place! Credit to those who have preserved this castle for people of all generations to enjoy!!!nThe grounds/gardens are beautiful and the Peacocks strolling around for me were the cherry on top!
