Amazing park and Woodland ideal for dog walking and exercise. Very chilly there today but is still beautiful in the winter and very busy too. Definitely worth a visit.

Quite good.town park. A lots of people with dogs. There is small caffe and golf club as well. Children playground could be better. But nice piece of green inside the town.
A great place to walk. There’s a mix of open meadow, beech woodland & golf course. You can do a perimeter walk, a wheelchair/buggy friendly walk or do your own thing. There is outdoor gym equipment, a car park closed in lockdown, a cafe, small shop & information signs about history/nature.

Came here with a toddler and a baby in a pushchair was expecting mud but the kids play area was awful. 1 slide a couple of baby swings and a few wooden statues. My toddler was so bored. There are other swings but not inside the play area. Lots of dog walkers so poo everywhere. Nice to walk in the woods but that's it
A lovely old park, well cared for now and maintained. A good place for a walk around the trails there, or if you want to use the vast mown grass area, ideal for picnics, dog walking or out door games with your children. It's sloping so ball games can be interesting!
