Brilliant museum, I would recommend it. It had been recently renovated, there's disabled access everywhere. The staff were lovely. The kids kept looking for toy mice as part of their activities. Don't get me started on the coffee, IT WAS BRILLIANT! and I'm really fussy about my coffee. Entrance is free but I would recommend donating if you liked it.
Amazing old house and very interested workers. We have been there 2 times and love each visiting. Entrance is free. You should visit coffee, there is very lovely. This house is very funny for kids, because they are looking some toys in roomsVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Free entry, and beautiful sights. Only shame was that the upstairs was closed for the time being, but despite that the sights downstairs made up for it. The cafe downstairs is also splendid. The mice hunt is also a wonderful touch for the little ones!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Great way to amuse yourself for an afternoon. Lovely grounds to walk around and very well laid out historic story in the house. The café inside is run by very friendly staff and you are able to eat in quite celubrious surroundings.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

A beautiful and interesting museum, friendly staff also a lovely cafe for a drink afterwards.
When I lived in Luton some years ago, wardown park and wardown park museum used to be great places to make a visit at the weekends.
I'd definitely recommend anyone living in or visiting Luton to pop into Wardown House. During each visit, I always discover a new piece of local information, artwork or display. Another bonus is the location. The museum is situated inside beautiful Wardown Park and there's also the lake nearby. You can treat yourself to freshly-made sandwiches and cake and have your snack or meal in the Victorian-inspired dining room. I love the dining room decor! Or, have your snacks in the seating area outside. There are many events that take place at the museum throughout the year, from story-telling and plays to different displays of artwork. Only recently, I attended a guided roof tour which I found extremely interesting and insightful. Other events I've attended include two 'Music in the Museum' classical and jazz concerts on a Sunday afternoon. All in all, spending time inside the museum is a fun and enjoyable way to learn about Luton's history.
It's small museum to know about local heritage and history of Luton Town.
If you love local history this is one of the places to visit tea and coffee shop aswell that looks out on to the beautiful park free entry but you can leave a donation if you canVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
