Following a fall yesterday I had to attend the MIU at Brecon last night. I just want to thank all those on duty from the person taking my call, the receptionist and a very special thank you to Nurse Laura - you were all fabulous! The service was amazing, so quick friendly and efficient. I feel like have done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson today but am healing well. Thanks again x
When my elderly mum was transferred here from Hereford, the first thing was a phone call from the doctor to exchange details to keep each other informed, and a form to fill in all about my mum who had dementia. Her family, life, job, hobbies etc to distribute to the staff so that they could get to know the person. Treated with such dignity and care all the time there. Thank you
My review is for the Dental Hospital. They were thoroughly lovely and understanding with my Dental phobia. Autumn last year I had 2 separate appointments with iv sedation which I have had before and was perfect for me as I cannot remember anything of the extractions procedure so I have had no trauma. Thank you again for understanding and looking after me.
I can not fault them. From the receptionists to the dental nurses and the oral surgeon. I Had to have an extraction of my wisdom tooth and a molar in front of it. Extremely nice, calm, friendly and patient. Wish I could go there all the time.
I recently visited the endoscopy unit for a colonoscopy - something I had been told was very unpleasant. From the moment I entered the unit, staff put me at ease by being very friendly and appreciative of the embarrassment and apprehension I was feeling. The actual procedure, was carried out expertly and with such concern and respect for the patient, I need not have worried. I cannot praise all the staff enough for making a mole-hill out of a mountain! Yours gratefully, Anna Lang
My wife and I are on holiday in the Brecon Beacons and sh was taken I'll on Sunday so we came here for help. The medical staff we met were all fabulously kind and helpful and we left feeling much better than when we arrived. A lovely nurse even provided us with sandwiches and tea!
Best dentist I have ever been to and very thorough nothing to much trouble. Would recommend this practice also very friendly
My first visit to Brecon hospital on Easter Saturday, to the Endoscopy unit,I was very apprehensive But needn't have worried as ALL the staff from the receptionist to the nurses and consultant, carried out the procedure with professional, care, and kindness,,and a respect for the patient, which made vist a more pleasurable one ,THANK YOU ALL p.s.and a great cup of tea as well ,
I attended the Minor Injuries Unit on Sunday 5th June 2016 and the service was exemplary. I was seen within minutes of arrival, met by a very caring and considerate nurse with a most gentle approach to my injury. Two other nurses popped in while I was being treated and all were most considerate - a far cry from some of the more brusque and 'matter of fact' nurses I've encountered in other hospitals. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, the treatment room spotlessly clean, all hygiene precautions taken and hand gels used. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, the nurses introduced themselves by name and I could not praise the staff more highly - and I was not the easiest patient to treat! Absolutely excellent service with much reassurance and all greatly appreciated following my minor injury. Thank you to everyone involved from a most grateful patient. :o
Make no mistake, may be a small town, and a small hospital, but the care has been exemplary. I see two consultants and visit the OT department here and the staff have been nothing but fantastic! Thank You for a brilliant service.
