Not too commercial, relies upon visitors with a genuine interest in local nature, so, no playground for children. But, there are lots of activities and sites for all ages to enjoy. There are plans, I understand, to build upon the success of the visitor site and car parking fee's are, partly, a means to this end. Support your local sites or loose them! Lots of nature related activities to suit all age groups. Look up the website online to discover more educational and recreational activities on offer this year!

Nice place for a walk. Lots of paths to explore so you can make it different every time. Some good views over the golf course and there's a nice Roman road. Plenty of trees and an ancient ring. There also appears to be a pop up cafe during the weekend (for a few months) if you need sustanance.

Love it here. Great place to walk (with or without a dog). Nice a safe for the children and even better now they have 'pop up' cafes at the weekend.

At the time I visited this amazing place I was asked by another visitor if I found something. I reply - Yes, I found my inner peace!

Lovely trees plants and wildlife and although it can get busy on sunny days the park is big enough that you can always find a quiet spot to walk or sit and take in the views.
