Had a major service and MOT done. Did a good job and friendly staff. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was that I was told when booking that the work would be complete by 11am drop of at 8.30, but when I came back at 11.15 it was still being worked on. Finally got the car back at 12.45. Was only an issue as couldn't go home and wait, so had to walk around for over 4 hours
Waltons came highly recommended by a number of people and I'm really pleased with the service received. Booked in for a service and MOT. They couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and I will definitely return for any further work. Price was reasonable too!
I was a very awkward customer with my Clio but the men at Walton’s were nothing but helpful! They checked my car and found the problem within half an hour, part was ordered and fixed in the same week! Great bunch of people and I will definitely be going back! They may stir their cups of tea with pens but they’re a great laugh while you wait and very reliable!
Car wouldn't go into gear .,Waltons said it needed a new gear box and clutch, surprised about gear box cos the car had only done 45,ooo miles. However work was done. A week later hubby went to pick the car up....it wouldn't go into gear!!! Walton blamed it on a faulty part and said they would get a new part and the job was done next day. After a few days we began to noticed a bit of a noise when the car went over a bump. Intended to phone them at the weekend, however 7 days after the repair Friday evening, A NUT FELL ON MY FOOT the nut that held the steering column together had fallen out. Very dangerous!! Phoned sat morning, feller said bring it in, we'll look at it. Told him it wasn't safe to drive so they sent a man out to replace it. Obviously it hadn't been tightened properly. NO APOLOGY Could have had a nasty accident.
Diabolical place - avoid at all costs.nNot possible to give zero stars unfortunatlynWent in for a service & MOT plus window washers to be looked at as not working, likely the washer motor has gone. They called me having done the service/MOT with recommendations but also stating I need a new wiper motor for £400 coming from Germany on a 5 day fix. Nothing wrong with the wiper before. Arguing, lying, rude staff kept saying I'd booked it in for wiper not working - no, the wipers were fine but the washers not working. They had the car 2.5days and had removed the fuse. Magically once I'd told them I'd taken photos of the fuses before and after suddenly, when I collected the car the wiper and washer all worked without the need need for a £400 wiper motor and what a surprise....the fuse back in place. Utter cowboys. Reporting to trading standards.
