I have been using the computers to study and have found the library to be a very nice environment to exist in. I love how adjustable the chairs, tables and monitors are. It can sometimes be loud, but bring a trusty pair of noise-cancelling headphones and you're set! Staff are friendly and helpful. Staff also sometimes decorate! Library is currently decorated to welcome in Spring!
Had a fantastic visit to the library with some friends, and Annette really made our day. She greeted us with a big smile and was super helpful in finding books and answering questions. On top of that, she even helped us out with a fork for our snacks—talk about going the extra mile! Annette’s sweet and bubbly personality made the whole experience enjoyable, and her professionalism was spot on. If you’re at the library and need a hand, Annette’s your go to girl! Highly recommend her for making your visit pleasant and stress-free. Love you Annette xo

Its a great pleasure visiting this library, especially the best experience with Kathy the way she enrolled me and explain the process from start to end. Definitely she deserve a pay rise and promotion for making people happy
Very nice place to study, relax and to find reading material! It's really pretty and has several nice spots to sit down. The computers are limited to 60min or express 20min but you can ask for extensions.
Felt very welcomed by staff member Lita on my first visit as a new resident in Wallsend. This is the best-looking library around Newcastle!

I visited the library on Sunday afternoon and was asked by 3 different staff members if I needed any assistance without even having to ask. One of the staff members I unfortunately didn’t catch her name went above and beyond by asking library members that had been using computers for a large amount of time to kindly allow others to use them if able as she had observed that I had been waiting some time. On top of that I struggled to do what I needed to do on the computer and almost gave up. She asked me what was happening and came over to have a look. She then showed me how to do what I needed to do and resolved the error I was getting. Thank you it definitely was appreciated.
I was there to get some printing jobs today, but the staff named *VICKY* was very rude to me, in-front of few other people, that was really embarrassing. When I asked her where to collect my documents once given print command from the computer. Her reply was, Can you see a printer sitting on this table? Even before that when I called her several times to help me while passing through me holding some magazines, wasn’t busy at all, she completely ignored me. I think if she cannot help people, she should not belong there, and also she must be very racist person. Sorry to say, but it hurts when people like her treat people on the basis of the colour.
The staff at this library have been helpful and friendly, going beyond what was expected. This has been my experience over a number of visits and interactions with the librarians.
