Walkern Gallery is both a Private Art Gallery and the Studio of artist Stephen Lowe. It is situated in the picturesque Hertfordshire village of Walkern.
A keen landscape painter, in 2002 Stephen moved to the conservation area of Walkern in Hertfordshire to enjoy the inspiration of local scenery and to open his studio. Friends and local professional artists soon became involved in the venture and, to date, over 60 artists have exhibited their work to form what is, without doubt, an exciting and varied show of talented creativity.
The Gallery is generally open Thursday to Sunday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm or at other times by appointment. As this is a working studio it is advisable to confirm in advance whether the gallery is open or not.
