Supermarket is a few minutes walk from the centre of Wellington. No car park but able to park on the street outside the shop.nnA wide range of Asian grocery products including fresh vegetables, chilled, bakery and frozen.nnNot everything is labeled with prices which makes its difficult to keep track of the shopping total.nnBeing a small independent shop, I would say that prices are more expensive and not comparable to a big trader.nnThe supermarket only accepts cash or bank transfer as payments. NO CARD PAYMENTS.

Many items aren't priced and some items weren't in the system so the cashier couldn't scan them properly and kept double scanning them, leading to an error that charged me twice for an item, which I only realized upon checking the receipt when I got home.nnAdditionally I bought 3 bags of these mushrooms photo which smelled just awful as soon as I opened the first bag to use it. Upon inspection I realized they had gone off and were rotting. All 3 bags were spoiled and had to go in the bin. There wasn't even a use-by date on the bags, which I suppose is why the store can get away with keeping them on the shelves well past their safe-for-consumption date.nnFinally the store has a small floorspace and tries to squeeze in Chinese, Korean, Thai and Indian products which results in none having a good, complete range. This is the only store stocking Chinese products in the region so I had no choice but to go here this time. Next time I will gladly make a longer journey to go somewhere else.
Handy place to get your oriental foodstuffs. Prices are not too bad. Variety is good. Parking can be a pain at peak hours, you may need to park a small distance away and walk a few yards.nnI think it's recently changed hands, it's certainly been refurbished, both inside and outside; it looks very smart, but it's now harder to move around inside than it used to be - maybe they're going to have a move around soon - it's certainly needed - but all in all, not bad at all.
I used to love coming here to shop but the last time I came in about a month ago I queued up to buy my items to be told it was either pay by cash or bank transfer !! Card payment not allowed. I have never in my life been asked in a shop to pay for things with bank transfer or even heard of this and because of this I will not be returning. I am very wary of giving any of my details out about my bank and found this very odd so I left with out my shopping
