What a fantastic Surgery, wish I joined years ago. Seen DR JOSEPH AKHATOR and a Nurse after called Sarah who was fantastic at taking bloods. Very friendly and I highly recommend this practice.
We have been with this Practice a few months now, can’t fault any of the staff - Reception, Nurses & GP’s all been brilliant so far - same goes for Cohens Pharmacy onsite, again all staff been very friendly and helpful
Fantastic doctors surgery all staff brilliant only problem is the music while waiting to get through make you want to put the phone down, please change it back
Some ok doctors up there but what good is that when you can't get an appointment, you ring in a morning to get same day appointment but from the very second the lines open it say's they are to busy and ends call, doesn't even put you in a queue if you're prepared to wait 2 weeks which by that time you will have died or gotten over whatever the problem was then register here.
Needed to speak to a doctor urgent mental health phoned at 8.08am to be told no appointments and cant help, have i tried 111 they might be able to help, i know from personal experience they don't its just another way to pass your problem to someone else. So im sat with no help whats the point of having a doctors ya might aswell just call the hospital and put more pressure on them. What a joke.
Walderslade has its own car park and a chemist. Other car parks nearby.disability freindy entrance, toilets, and a lift. It was clean throughout. My appointment was delayed by 10 minutes but other than that a very good service.
Absolutely brilliant surgery! I always get an appointment, you need to call in early at 8am, or after half 12 for any cancelled appointments. The doctors/nurses are amazing and I always feel reassured and in good hands. Can't recommend enough! Really friendly reception too!
I have been with this practice for 4 yrs now. The reception staff have always been polite and helpful both in person and on the phone which is a rare thing to find these days. I have had the pleasure of meeting a few of the GPs at the practice and with one exception, i have been very happy with the treatment i have received and the helpful, caring, reassuring attitude they have displayed to me. The Practice Nurses are invaluable and very efficient. Again, the respectful, caring attitude they portray is very well received. We are lucky to have such a good GP Surgery in this area. I travel much of GB for work and it has been necessary for me to register as a temporary resident in various locations. Believe me, this is an excellent practice, thank you to all at Walderslade, you are very much appreciated.
Some the GP's in this place need to be struck off. The level of care I have been provided on a few separate occasions is disgusting. The reception staff need to attend some sort of course on how to speak to people in a polite manner, and some not all of the doctors?! Need to quit as they clearly lack the compassion, understanding and patience needed to be an effective doctor. I have had to make multiple complaints now about how unethically I've been treated in this awful place. If you haven't already registered with this practice, then don't! You will regret it!
The receptionists are sometimes point blank rude! Won't let you say what you need to say and cut you off mid conversation. Waiting times for an appointment and to speak to someone in reception are ridiculous . One of the worst surgeries i've experienced. The doctors themselves are really nice and pleasant though.
