Nice Waitrose store in Chichester. Pretty large and good variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. The counter at the back of the store is standard and don’t have a sushi stand, dry age beef selection nor a roast chicken counter.
Friendly staff. Lovely rotisserie chickens, however the price has increased considerably, now £8 each. Fresh bread section is good. Overall nice store
The staff are friendly, the shop is conveniently sized - bread is not a mile from the tills. Non-essential items are often cheaper than other supermarkets, essentials are the same or 5% more.nThere is still way too much unnecessary single use plastic on fruit, veg, and delicatessen items.
Another Waitrose where if you don't fit their expected demographic the security guard quite conspicuously follows you and makes you feel like a criminal.nnAny claim that it is routine to patrol the store is disingenuous, he could not have made it any more obvious. I even said to him how obvious he was being and just got a smirk back in response.nnAt that point I cut my shop short and just paid for what I had so far. To be honest I would rather have abandoned entirely but that would have just fed into his narrative.
Rescans grrr. Dont confuse the software by changing your mind in store or checking prices. Weight the items..use tech... instead of embarassing customers waitrose.
