A refund was due from Waitrose but instead of that the woman dealing with the matter, as was found out two days later when looking at a bank account, had arranged a further debit. Today, whilst trying to sort this out with the same woman by attempting to show her the debits recorded in the bank account, the woman said she didn't want to see it and argued that the transaction would take a few days to go through. She was shown the transactions anyway that proved she was wrong and that it was her mistake. She then proceeded to correct it. The same woman was extremely rude on the day the refund was required and was rude again today by arguing she was right before being proved otherwise. No apologies were given. This woman certainly needs retraining. On another matter, I agree with other reviews, the toilets are always in a disgusting state.
Recently returned to Waitrose for our weekly shops, this store is not too big- sufficient to get everything for the weekly shop and well laid out. Nice little cafe with a good selection of cakes. However, the toilets here are absolutely disgusting- every time I have used them I am disappointed! Needs a deep clean asap!

It's a very small store the staff are helpful.
Poorly managed. Some nice stuff, but frequently have empty shelves and can't be relied upon even for the basics especially for veg and meat. On the last visit there were two loose potatoes left, which were worse for wear, and we wanted a pork roasting joint which was an impossible task. Tesco opposite tends to be a safer bet I find.
