Waitrose Paddock Wood is a shoppers paradise. This was my first visit to the store following its recent revamp and I was astonished by the clever use of the reclaimed space, the communal dining areas and the breadth and depth of its product offerings. I strongly recommend Waitrose Paddock Wood as the ideal shopping experience.

Good store with easy parking and a fair range of products for its size. Having said that it has its problems. There's plenty of staff but not where they are needed. One staff member on the basket checkout serving 6 in the queue but three on self service chatting with nothing to do. It's not unusual for one member of staff to be covering all four fresh food counters and for people to just give up. This is a premium store let down by poor customer service.

Waitrose has a beautiful selection of fresh foods to tempt any pallet, you can buy whole or pre-prepared fruit and vegetables. Fresh or frozen meats that look appealing and well butchered. The bakery offers a large selection of fresh breads, pastries and cakes.. gorgeous Baclava! There is a nice variety of homeware, if a little small. Over all a really lovely shop to pop into to get those essentials for a few days groceries. You do feel as if you are having a treat. The only down side is the cost most items are little more expensive than other supermarkets I visited. Bonus is that they have a lovely selection of plants, staff are always amazingly helpful, absolutely accessible to all, great parking and toilets. Maybe it’s worth the extra cost for the service and convenience.

An upmarket supermarket which always has a large and varied selection of food on offer. Prices are a little higher than those of competitors, but shopping there is more pleasurable because of the excellent staff whom I have always found to be helpful, friendly and polite. (N.B. The store is closed until 1st December 2017 for a major refurbishment which will no doubt improve the layout and facilities still further).
