Such a shame that staff have an expectation that customers will return regardless of service. Happy with most Waitrose branches, but this one desperately needs an injection of enthusiasm and a short course in manners when dealing with customers. The Gail’s sourdough purchased today was far from fresh, despite being assured that it was……Will return for essentials only and focus quality shopping elsewhere.
This Waitrose just had a weird atmosphere and the staff members have a very disinterested attitude that really doesn't suit the brand. Nobody expects a red carpet at a supermarket but at least smile or try and make basic small talk with your customers when they do the same thing with you.
Well trained staff, good fish+meat counter. They have a decent ethnic foods section. Good sized carpark but the entrance road is awkward as you have to turn left immediately at the end of a straight run and then brake hard to meet a zebra crossing. I'd like the manager to sort out some traffic management there.
Shop here regularly and normally get everything I need. More recently some things are out of stock - hopefully a blip.
Good size, nice staff and great food
Huge shop, seems to be geared up for polluting vehicular customers, long way to walk from Wimbledon Centre, why not a pedestrian entrance at the car park end of the building?
Great store. TERRIBLE self checkouts. Not sure they’ve ever worked.
Often out of stock of the very basic products you’d expect not to be, plus the store could use a makeover as it looks older than Joe Biden.
Staff could do with a brush up on their manners and general customer service. Every time I go there I am never treated kindly by them. They always seem to be talking amongst themselves when people are stood there waiting for them to help them on Self Service. They are also unwilling to help when you need assistance. General state of the store is always good though, so they are clearly doing something right. Great produce, just wish it was a more friendly experience
Nice place to shop but can be a bit expensive on some items! As a disabled person it's easy to shop here and get around though some shelves are a bit high but most of the staff are friendly and helpful, found that the checkout staff maybe a bit unhelpfully though!
