The layout of the stock is a total mess and is frequently moved around. I was looking for the confectionery today which has been moved entirely because of Christmas and replaced by a tiny expensive chocolate section one row closer to the checkouts. I overheard two old ladies complaining about the moving of stock and that they could never find what they are looking for - I didn't say anything but I know exactly what they meant. There are lots of airhead pretty girl managers just standing around trying to look important and trying to look as if they're doing something - probably the ones responsible for moving things from A to B to make it look as if they're doing something useful. Budget checkouts. These self-checkouts are only for tiny quantities. You can literally fit 2 or 3 items, that's it. I understand they don't want people having tons of shopping on these things but they are stupidly small. The establishment accepts contactless payments but has a car park built ON TOP of it so it acts a huge shield. If you have a naff signal on your phone you may not be able to make a purchase - which would be super embarrassing if you have no cash. Prices, moderate to expensive. Poor store to be honest and it's so sad to see so many affluent looking people in there, as it's obvious they go in there for the name.

I used to love the Enfield Waitrose, not anymore. The layout has changed, the wine section is huge and the fruit and veg cut back, at least that's how it seems. Tills are a nightmare, too many serve yourself. Do you understand your clientele, predominately elderly, with mobility problems, sight and other health issues - not the younger, hipster, fast paced demographic the new format is clearly aiming for? The staff are still lovely and they are the 2 stars I have given, no stars for the store.

The stock I wanted was there which I was pleased about but unfortunately the service at the till was not good. The young lady passed my change to me which fell through my hand and she did not even apologise, just started serving the next customer. Shame.

Staff brilliant, store well stocked. Sardines in olive oil own brand, out of stock ,careless management. Tell the bosses.
