My favourite supermarket in the area with outstanding customer service which I have used for over two decades. Whilst it looks brighter after the recent refurbishment if feels more cramped. Also some of my regular purchases are no longer stocked. And does it really need a sushi bar?

As a keen man for shopping, I like to explore the best deals around. On my recent visit to waitrose in Harpenden, it was the worst experience I've had in an establishment in a while. Firstly, the halls were conjested as the width of the Isle wasn't fit to squeeze two trollies and a man by. It was like sardines in a tin!! Also, the prices are so high I could go just across the road to Sainsburys and get myself the same thing, tasting better for 30% less!! I do not recommend this supermarket with its unsatisfactory service and experience; one worker even asked how to spell 'curry'.

It's been through a much needed refurbishment that has made our shopping experience much better now. Wish they had more plastic free initiatives though but at least you can buy some loose fruit and veg.
