I visited the Maltings yesterday for a fair and as I didn’t have any cash I tried to download the RingGo app. There are adverts on the app which are very easy to touch on a small screen on a sunny day. Two of those adds used my mail account and credit card number which I had just entered for RingGo and this morning I had to freeze my credit card as a payment of £60 was imminent. I managed to get out of JumpToStrength but ToneUpFit is a complete scam, it immediately takes a pounds out of your account, the phone number to ring does not exist and it is impossible to get on their website to unsusbscribe.nApart from the fact that I managed to pay using the phone number and got a confirmation email, I got a ticket telling me I hadn’t paid, so now I will have to try to get that sorted PCN number: WZ40055571nLastly, I paid £8.20 for parking my car for 4 hours which is more than double the amount that I would have paid using cash and nothing on your board in the Waggon Yard car park warns you of that.nTo sum it up, I am extremely cross about my car parking experience of yesterday, you are using a parking app which uses scam adverts check on Which.co.uk, the car park attendants obviously do not have the software to check that people have paid and visitors are penalised if they do not have cash by making them pay double.nAs a destination for tourism you are seriously failing to impress.
Pretty central car park. You can pay via the Ringgo app beware it still took my money despite me accidentally paying on a day when parking is free
lots of space in the town centre, bit tight getting in and out durinf rushhour
So convenient for Farnham town & Gostrey Meadow, always find a space.
Very busy car park, but found a space on every visit.
