Not a bad choice for a meal at the airport. The food is okay, though the starters seemed pretty expensive for small plates. It's not very authentic, but I don't think they're trying to be. Be prepared for less service than a normal restaurant, as they're quite busy. However, I want to highlight how my server noticed my lack of a drink when handing me my main even though I had not pointed it out, and promptly brought me my water! Hence, I don't think their service should get a bad rep Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian and vegan options, easily noticeable because many are highlighted in green on the menu
Full vegan breakfast was delicious but portions could be bigger. Came with white bread even though there was a brown bread option on the menu. Took them ages to bring the right bread. It came with butter ! Coffee was nice. Service was pretty slow and cold, staff seem to be either new or a bit tired? Vegetarian options: Veggie and vegan options available Dietary restrictions: Caters well for vegans
Came here while waiting in T3 fancy Japanese food and other alternative was yo sushi. Wagamamas is becoming my McDonald's alternative. The experience and food quality is the same pretty much which ever site you visit. The differentiation is in the service. This time round not so good. The restaurant was not by any stretch of the imagination busy however the service was really just not present. Busy doing server things but not attentive to customer requests. Saw people literally have to standup and hunt a waiter down to either get a bill or ask to order. I made eye contact with one only to have them break it and go about doing something else. In the end had to go to the manager area just to pay. They apologized for the service. Disappointing. Vegetarian options: Full vegi menu and vegan Kid-friendliness: Space and crayons for the kids and high chairs Parking: It's inside the terminal no parking Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level no issues about access Dietary restrictions: Fully explained menu and was asked if have any allergies
Mediocre food and chaotic service. The sauce on the chicken cats curry was overpowered with turmeric as the colour on the photo shows masking any other spices. The vegetables used have been better days. My partner's tofu dish was nicer than the chicken katsu curry, though still nothing to rave about.
Lovely food and friendly staff when you get access to them. On this occasion before departure for a summer holiday, they were extremely short-staffed and noticeably under pressure to show customers to their seats, to take orders, to deliver food and to then tidy up afterwards. We had a very friendly waitress who tried her best to smile and attend to us regardless. Message to the management - you need more staff!
We had lots of time in the airport so I was very happy to be able to get a nice meal before we flew. It wasn't the best service but the Ramen definitely hit the spot.Food: 5/5
Shocking! The crew cannot cope. Half the place is empty yet there's a long queue outside. Service is slow, lacks agility and interest. Who cares, right? Well, I do, Wagamama. Once seated, things get better. Staff make eye contact, smile and then look away, as if we're in a nightclub and I'm trying to chat them up. Don't get me wrong, there are many staff around but nobody seems to work there. They are all too busy with themselves. Has any one of them worked in a restaurant before? I wonder whose money pays their salaries.
Started with dirty chopsticks and napkin, but we soldiered on, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Then we got spotty glasses, not the end of the world but then my wife found a hair in her food but we were assured it was only wood splinters from the chopsticks. Wife understandably did not want to eat it and lost her appetite. 15 minutes later my chicken gyozu ramen arrived, missing the egg and the dipping sauce, they retrieved an ice cold egg and I discovered the pak Choi, egg, and gyozas were ice cold and the noodles were overcooked and mushy. Every time I asked to speak to a manager a different person came, first the bartender then our waiter. We are usually fans of Wagamama but I would avoid the Heathrow branch at all costs. Poor management, poorly trained staff
The vegan tofu-tumeric topped avocado toast was surprisingly good, the sweet tomato salsa that came with the avocado was a nice touch. All ingredients were fresh, service was professional.
Ok for a quick bite before your flight, but not an Asian food experience. It gets quite crowded so expect about 5 minutes to be seated, 5 to take the order and at least 10 to get your food. Fair prices. You can also pay via their app so you don't need to wait for the POS.
