"Our aim is to provide everything you might need from a day in the country to life in the country! Whether you participate in a country sport or prefer to be a spectator we have all bases covered. Our product range focuses on quality but is broad enough to cater to most budgets.In 2019 we opened a new cafe/restaurant in store so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or just a cup of coffee and slice of cake once your shopping is complete. You can even have a go on our Marksman Shooting Simulator.We look forward to welcoming you!"

What a great find! Lovely food and wine and very well stocked shop. Salads etc grown in own polytunnel, even has its own airstrip! Very friendly team there who we spent some time chatting with about its history and development. Highly recommended. Sorry again about the broken wine glass!

The BEST customer service. I went for a hat fitting obviously came away with a lot more I was put under no pressure to buy, super friendly, and they let me take plenty of photos of the hat styles. I went home to think about it and bought a hat on their website. I needed it quite quickly and the service over the phone was fantastic. They shipped it out to me the next day at a very reasonable rate. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Really fantastic customer service, both when I have shopped online to collect in store previously and then again today when I needed to go in to try on yard and riding boots. The member of staff was friendly, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products, and patient while I tried on probably about everything they had in my size! My perfect size was not in stock but this has been ordered and I am looking forward to my new boots arriving in the store next week. Cannot thank you enough!

Absolute top of the top service in here from the gun room, I honestly can't complement or recommend them enough. I have now had 2/2 perfect experiences with the team and will ensure that they are at the top of my list for any country sport related requirements. I went in with the ambition to part exchange two products for two others, we worked out a deal that was more than fair and both parties seemed to be happy. I felt the sales experience was incredible from start to finish, all of the team treated me as though they had all of the time in the day for me and I at no stage felt pressured into making a purchase or being hurried through. I was allowed a session testing both products on the simulator, which was incredible, a great experience which made the service stand out over other shops considering there is only 6 of these systems in the country. The team accommodated my requirements by finding an additional box, which was not originally included obviously this isn't to say they will be able to do this with each sale, but it still shows their interest in accommodating the customer. I will be recommending both the team and the gun room for anyone interested in either learning or purchasing anything of this nature in the future. The store was also amazing to browse round and a delightful cafe ensures that I will happily come and spend another half a day there in the near future. Many thanks to the team.

Found this place online…was in the area and popped in! Was not disappointed at all good range of equine and country clothing! Was nice to see a good range of high end country clothing to try on. Came away with a very full bag. Will be back again for sure when in area.

Wow what fantastic service!  I wanted to place an order on line but concerned about the postal strikes I called the store and was told to put a note on the order for local delivery.  The next day one of the staff personally delivered my order.  I realise that I am lucky enough not to be too far away or perhaps close to where the staff member may live, but even so didn't expect this exceptional service, thank you.

My husband was interested in buying some Dubarry's, Lisa a member of staff was 10/10. So helpful, patient and gave great advice. Thank you! The store itself is a great place for shopping and brunch / lunch. Even for 'non horse' people.

Male riders/equestrians... if you're looking for riding clothes/boots etc. don't bother going here. Other than that, there's a fair choice of tack - although nothing, for me, that I couldn't have found at my local tack shop really. Good for eyeing up the top of the range stuff I don't buy though! Staff were nice and cafe was good.

A fantastic country store offering absolutely everything for the country enthusiast. Lovely cafe to enjoy either halfway through or at the end of the couple of hours you’ll need to check everything out.

Stuart in the gun room was really helpful, honest and efficient. He knows his stuff but was not condescending like some gun shops can be it was the first gun I’d bought on 20+ years. No sales talk or hard sell. He found what I needed and didn’t push for a bigger sale. I think I got a bargain too, so all round a good experience. Make sure you take a look if you are looking for a gun.
