Fabulous tasty fish and chips. Decent portions and good price. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean restaurant. The surprise is there was only 4 of us in the whole place (4pm on a Saturday) it seats 250! Strange because you couldn't fault the food. Definitely worth a visit.

We called in here based on Google reviews. Very nice. Decor is a bit dated but you don't go there to look at the walls! Me and the wife had large haddock and chips and the kids had fish and chips from the children's menu. Fish was free from skin and bones and the batter was light and crispy. Excellent portion size and we all felt stuffed afterwards. Another plus point was that the kids ate free with full paying adults so our evening meal was less than £20 in total!! One very slight thing was there wasn't much drink choice for the kids but not the end of the world. Would definitely go back for the food.

Food nice, staff need more customer service training, the old saying "service with a smile" is true and remembering what your customer has ordered helps.

used to be the best fish and chip shop in town but I am sorry to say the standards have slipped dramatically fish is flat as if been put through a roller? and mostly dry, its a shame I used to love eating here
