We visited the bakery at Baddesley that had been baking bread for over 100 years. Without a doubt, the best bread for miles around. They now have a front shop with a fresh range of cakes and pies. Their bread can also be frozen without loss of guality.

The best bakery I have ever been to. Staff are so helpful. The well fired cobs are the best.

I just love it here, lovely friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble! So much choice… i love the freshly baked bread and I’m a bit partial to their tea cakes and hot cross buns, the best I’ve had tbh! My girls love a Friday treat on the way back from school, I think they must’ve tried most of the cakes and I haven’t had any complaints! The vanilla slices are their favourites…

I purchased a tiger loaf and tear and share tea cakes from your stall at the Ashby food festival on 29/5/22. The bread had a sell by date of 30/5 and the tea ales 31/5 . The cost was £4.50. When we arrived home we found the bread hard and dry and the tea cakes dry. I have e mailed the bakery and asked for a refund. Hopefully their customer service will renew my faith in the quality of their goods. I will update the review as required.

Brilliant bakery, always lovely , good quality excellent food. The staff are always helpful, friendly.  First class, I would not shop anywhere else. Travel from Tamworth to the bakery, so worth while. I recommend it. 5 star.

Wonderful cute little bakery. Before going we had rang up and placed an order. The staff were very friendly in person and over the phone. Once inside they have cookies, cakes, breads laid out at the side on a table. Not to eat but to buy. The covid restrictions were very much in place. Well done. We needed to wait outside until someone called us in. Their products are amazing and so tasty. The bread is soft but not delicate, the flap jacks are very much enjoyable you can taste the syrup in them, cakes are light and fluffy, they also have chocolate caramel short cakes, they are delicious and they are not too sickly either. I would rightly recommend to anyone who has a sweet tooth and who loves a good soft bread sandwich.
