A lovely, clean, spacious cinema with free lots of free parking spaces, including disabled parking spaces. Tickets are cheap - £5.99, even cheaper if u buy online £4.99. Food & drinks are crazily expensive ~ a cup of pop is £4.99 & popcorn is £7!!! Staff is helpful & friendly. Washrooms are clean. Great location with fast food eating places, restaurants, pubs, nursery, gym, bowling place.
We got there 15 minutes before start time and encounter huge que leading nearly to front door. Staff behind tills were only 3 on Bank Holiday. Which was quite frustrating considering new movie releases. Staff very polite ensuring me we will get there on time for the start of the movie. Huge discouragement and disappointment was that we couldn't use our vouchers for Family of 4 . Before cashier was typing code manually and was not problems . This time I end up paying full price with 2 kids sets and large popcorn. Visiting toilets sign was saying there were look after and cleaned on regularly basis everyday , well not so much . Was very sorry without toilet paper around . Vue need to look into more staff especially in bank hols dates when new movies coming out . Just thought it was poorly managed.
Absolutely disgraceful! My sister has took my daughter and her son to meridian cinema today and had stated on the phone a few days ago that the babies was both two years of age they said that was fine now personally if you allow babies under the age of 5 you should know that they will not sit for a long period of time they ask them to leave they did give a refund after my sister who was well in her rights to feel the way she felt just pointing it out to anyone that what we to give their child the cinema experience to not take them if they don’t sit down for long periods of time due to you wasting your time or better yet might not be able to get a refund. It’s not okay for employees to not state these simple rules. So for the employee that said it was okay next time state the rules to the parents so they are not wasting there time.
Cinema screen and seating good 30/12/22. I'm giving 2 stars because everyone there looked liked they couldn't be arsed . No smiles. No pleasantries food service, cinema cleaners Maybe it was because it was a 10pm showing. No-one in charge of gateway so could have seen it free. It's like for the 2 seconds I see you make it somewhat enjoyable.
Good price if you buy a ticket online, and you can choose your seat. Not always warm in the auditorium so take a jumper during colder months. The VIP seats are ok, a bit more room and a cup holder each side, but not that much better really than the standard seats, for the extra £2.00, so I usually go for standard seats. You can't go wrong for seeing a new movie for £4.99!
Good screen and seats with enough leg room. Air conditioning was comfortable and not freezing. Sound system was great. One issue was that the EXIT signs were uncomfortably too bright, I would avoid the seats near them.
Last night watched Avatar 2 on Screen 4. Ambience was good. Screen is okay. But the sound system is so dull, the audio was poor. It's like watching a TV. They didn't turn on side speakers. Only the audio coming from front. I couldn't enjoy the movie thoroughly.
I visited here with my two grandchildren. It would have been cheaper to buy the tickets in advance online, than paying on arrival. The snacks, drinks and sweets are overpriced, however, you can take your own. There appeared to be no heating on the day we went as it was freezing and we all had to keep our coats on and cuddle up to keep warm for the whole of the film.
Not very busy on my visit to watch the film Avatar 2. Close disabled parking, however, with a stupid one-way system that by the time you have come level with the cinema, you can't get access to the disabled parking for the one way only system, this then making you have to go full circle around the complex and those very annoying speed bumps. No hot food due to all the warmers needing repair. However, very pleasant and helpful staff, this including the security lad on duty that day. I would still recommend it's a great family event.
We had a very special reason for attending the cinema this Saturday night just past. As such, we visited and called the manager to ask if he could do something to mark it for us - which he did with no trouble at all - thank you to him! The staff on the night were very sweet and helpful too. The cinema is always clean, warm and run efficiently.
