Pros:nMany movie theaters: This gives you a wide selection of movies and viewing times. You can always find something that interests you and you won't be limited to one or two sessions a day.nTickets for children on non-premiere days for £5: This makes going to the cinema more affordable for families with children.nClean: The cinema is clean and tidy, both in the halls and in the lobby.nPolite staff: The cinema staff is polite and ready to help you with any questions.nRules Followed: The cinema follows rules such as banning the use of mobile phones during screenings. Age restrictions.nnCons:nHigh prices: Movie tickets at Vue Cinema can be quite expensive, especially on opening days.nnIn general:nVue Cinema is a good cinema with a wide selection of films, convenient screening times, clean rooms and friendly staff. Ticket prices can be high, but there are also some concessions, such as cheap tickets on non-premier days.nnRecommendations:n If you want to save on tickets, buy them in advance or visit the cinema on non-premier days.nCome to the session in advance to find a good seat.
First visit since Vue took over from Empire. The inside is just the same as when Empire, not sure if any improvements etc will be made in due course.nnThe girl serving the ice-cream was very friendly and chatty.nnThis, unfortunately, is where the good review ends. The cinema was very filthy and dirty see photos. The cleaning of the screen area only began 5 mins or so before the film started and was not complete by the time the lights went down. It was just terribly disappointing. Staff need to have training on efficient cleaning as picking up one thing at a time is totally ineffective.nnVue could learn a lot from Cineworld see my previous post!
24th January, I booked to see 'The Beekeeper' online. Great value for £4.99!nGot a nice seat reserved toonI got an email through to my phone with all the information on, and the QR code which was my ticket to get innThe trailer for this film looked good and the story line of true values and doing something right.nnReally enjoyed this film, Jason Statham played a great role, true style of him righting wrongs for the good, throughout the film.nNice to catch scum bags ripping off frail and vulnerable peoplenWish this could happen in real life sometimes.‍nWould recommend to watch this film.nnCame in on late Friday afternoon to watch One Life, a true story film about children being rescued from Prague, and brought to England, just before the 2nd World War started.nFilm sets were amazing, great acting from Anthony Hopkins.nnIt was a very moving film. Having been to visit the Auschwitz camp in Poland, we knew what their outcome would of been‍nnGreat to be back at our local cinema and the prices were set at £4.99 to see the film.nnThe only bad thing was that in cinema 3, we could here the Imax sounds and thudding, from the cinema next door, all the way through our film‍
Went on a Saturday for my daughters birthday. All tickets £4.99 which is great value. The food & drink as always was a little on the steep side. Customer service was great however, friendly and welcoming. I will certainly go back.
You get what you pay for!nReally disappointed with this cinema after 2 visits since it opened. Yes, ticket prices are low £4.99 but the experience is abysmal. Atmosphere as you walk through the main door is uninviting; dark, quiet and endless carpet with little seating. For a Saturday night, it was dead, very few customers about.nPurchasing a drink from the kiosk took my breath away. I asked for a small coke and received 300ml for £3.99! I took a sharp intake of breath when I saw the size of the cup and voiced my shock to the member of staff who just couldn’t care less about her job. Upon entering the screen, it was cold. Additionally, there was loud crackling sound that sporadically happened throughout the movie which not only was annoying as it made everyone jump, it ruined the movie as I was constantly on guard for it to happen. The toilets are not well tended, Smelly and messy.nSadly, I doubt I will return to this cinema. I’ll gladly pay the higher price at cineworld for the better experience. A lot of work is needed here.
