A really nice and comfortable cinema in the Quayside shopping mall. Very comfy reclining seats.
The comfortable recliners were the bonus to the audience. Every single seat has got its own armrestS and its own little table for placing the food and drink on, so it is a very individual enjoyment however one likes to sit and eat one's favourite snacks, without worrying about the 'sharing of armrest' with the neighbours. I brought my bubble tea and snacks in, when enjoying a wonderfully entertaining film with my family. Even the front most seats are good enough, with a spacious setting at the larger screens. The tickets are good value for money, especially when you can buy them online in advance. But please be careful about the E-mail address input, as we typed it with an error, so it took us a long time to get help to get in, and we missed the first bit of the movie we were watching... The facilities on the whole are very nice, being new and clean, etc. as a family-friendly cinema suitable for a day-out, as there are a lot of F&B choices in Quayside as well as a number of intaeresting shops. I would go there again to watch another film when another film of our interests is on!
Film was amazing! But this isn't about the film, when we arrived we bought nachos which were £13.99 alone! Absolute rip off! But, worse than that was upon entering the screen room both our seats were soaking wet with drinks from previous people. Which means the seats haven't been cleaned. Then, to top off an already appalling stay at the Vue, there were no toilet roll in either of the mens stalls and 1 of the handryers was broken. Absolutely awful.
Ample parking on site and the location is easy to find. The cinema itself was very clean during our visit and the chairs were extremely comfortable. Hot drinks machine was out of order at the time, so I wasn't able to get a drink for the movie from the counter, the popcorn was nice though. Would definitely visit again and the pricing is good for the quality of the seats.
Yes very bad experience today 31 July 2024. Management refused entrance due to my son not having ID and probably looking under the age of 15. I must say I didn't book the ticket my wife booked and was not aware of the 15 year old restriction. However I explained it was my son's 15th Birthday and assured them of his age. I spoke with the manager who I explained we had travelled 10 miles it was his birthday and assured him of his age. I realised even after talking with the manager there was no emphapy from him and so I asked for our money back in which instead of returning our money they gave us complimentary tickets which I did not want. I lingered for a while as to fathom out what was going through my mind and the manager said "is there a problem, have you got a problem" ? Which seemed a little bit of a threat especially as I got the feeling he was also shark eyeing me. Me and my son watched two of the previous films, this should have been the 3rd Deadpool at the same cinema and never been refused prior. So very disappointed. However rules are rules but sometimes common sense would provail in situations such as this and not all children have photo ID as I tried to explain to the manager. Awful experience today it ruined my lads birthday. Entertainment at it's best or maybe a power trip from the shark eye manager.
Great cinema with around 10 screens and I have visited this venue a few times now. Always a smooth experience as you don’t see large queues and a massive wait time. As this venue is situated inside a shopping mall, there are plenty of food eateries outside the cinema so plenty of choice plus the bonus point for visiting this place is the parking is free, just give your parking ticket to the cinema staff and they’ll validate your parking ticket and bingo - you’re good to go
I’ve never once been here and seen it clean. More often than not you’ll see a few staff members standing around and chatting, so surely they have time to deal with the mess. Good class is decent enough and if it didn’t exist we simply wouldn’t bother.
Been here a few times to watch various films with my children. Always clean. New layout is a real difference, especially the seating, it's like being at home. Only downfall are the cinema pricing for food, and treats and drink. They could do with adjusting prices so it's reasonable, it would be benefit both the company and the customers. We take our own treats, but overall great cinema. Good regulations in place. Very clean. Free parking- ticket validated at cinema. Advise to book online before going to ensure seats you want. Booking automatically place empty seats around you to help keep distance from others. Chairs are very comfortable! Love that all are recliners as standard.
This cinema is disgusting. I went to watch wolverine Deadpool and the seats were not clean. Chocolate and stains all over. I had to go toilet and get tissues. The staff are clearly not doing their jobs !!
Best cinema seats I've ever sat in and great quality overall. There's plenty of space so people don't have to stand up in order for you to get to your seat. The main downside was that after watching the film I had to walk all over the lowery mall looking for an exit. Finally finding it in the car park below
