Went to go watch Kingdom of the planet of the apes this evening with my wife, we where in screen 5 - it absolutely stank of urine in the room and it made us both feel incredibly uneasy about the cleanliness of the cinema. Obviously, given the stench i had a look where I was going to sit.. stains all over the seat. You really need to give this room a deep clean. Extremely dissatisfied with the visit.
Went with my eldest to watch the new Ghostbusters - He obviously scammed me out of a milkshake and popcorn combo, don’t mind spending a bit on food when the tickets are so cheap! Decent seats, cracking afternoon out with the boy
Was served today by a lovely lady called Ashleigh who explained a wide range of deals to me and my husband. She was bright and bubbly, and she gave very fast and efficient service. Overall I had a great experience and I will become a regular from now on!!
Lovely cinema, and as a wheelchair user, I am well looked after with rear seating accessed via a special key access lift. With disabled toilet and private seating area so as to not disturb anyone. Edit: yet again another amazing experience at gateshead. Venue nice and clean xx
Really can't fault it, very affordable ticket prices, cheaper than odeon, get a voucher for free parking at Tesco...and special mention to the guy who served us our beverages at the counter on 10/6/24 at around 1530...he was good at his job, clear approachable and it was nice to see someone with common sense, those paper straws always turn to mush, he gave us 2 each I'm guessing for that reason which was much appreciated
Me and my daughter went last Friday, lift was off my daughter can’t go down escalator, have to say the staff were amazing let us use the fire exit really appreciated this Thankyou
Impromptu visit to see Wonka, we always go to Vue when we go to the cinema. Why would you pay the prices you do at the odeon when you can go to Vue for £4.99 for a standard seat and they are comfortable with lots of leg room. Wouldn't go anywhere else .
I always go to this Vue, the ticket prices are so reasonable, we never have any issues getting good seats when we book online, and you can upgrade to the premium seating for little extra. Unlike the metrocentre Odeon which we used to go to, we don't find that there is trouble with people kicking the back of your seats or being particularly noisy during the films which is a relief. It can be relatively busy but not so busy as it causes any problems. There's little queues for snacks sometimes, but there is in any cinema, and of course if you're going to see a movie on a weekend or during the school half term holidays then it is going to be more busy. The staff are always friendly, the cinema toilets are usually very clean as far as public toilets go, and the cinema itself has a nice aesthetic the lobby area is well lit and really nice to sit in if you get there too early for your film. I've seen many movies here and im sure to return many times in the future to Vue Gateshead.
Nice clean cinema with pleasant staff. Parking nearby in Tesco's car park is convenient. Full tickets purchased gives free parking for 5hrs or free after 18:00 hrs. Will use again
A collection of movie theaters with good range of movies. Clean and comfortable. Good sound system. Parking available and free. Ticket prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
