Lovely relaxing atmosphere, friendly helpful staff great coffee I would definitely recommend this pub/ bistro for ether coffee, hot chocolate, tea and a cake. They do meals also unfortunately we didn't sample the food on this occasion next time I will definitely try the food. Tables are available inside and outside, the tables are bookable in advance. There is also a fully stocked bar serving beers wines and spirits. On street parking.
Perhaps the best kept secret in Uphall. We’ve lived in the area since 2014 but have never made it in to enjoy a lunch here. Generous portions, lovingly handmade food and excellent service. We will be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I went for an organised veterans Xmas lunch and, even though I live a 10 minute drive away, would never have considered going in previously. However, it was EXCELLENT! Food is brilliant, the place is well looked after and the staff are great. I'll definitely go back again for lunch now!
Went with a group for a Christmas meal together. I would highly recommend. Our food was served at the same time.. everyone enjoyed their choice. The staff were helpful and friendly. The Christmas decorations made the place very cosy and atmospheric. Enjoyed sitting in the large sofas beside the fireplace after our meal.
Friendly staff and good service. Nice decor and some comfy sofas to chill out on. Hot drinks were good as was the alcohol free mocktail I had. I would however say the food wasn't brilliant, it was ok but not the tastiest. The mexican chicken burger was really quite bland and didn't taste the best and mine had a huge piece of gristle. The guacamole also could have done with a bit more flavour. However the salsa was lovely, as were the fries and the burger bun was lovely and fresh.
The food here is delicious , and the chef is extremely competent to be able to be so flexible and accommodating. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and there's a lovely warm and comfortable ambiance . The only thing that could make it easier to drop in would be the admission of well behaved dogs.
Loved this little bistro. Great service, good food and some live music on a Sunday afternoon. Very quaint setting.
A very nice atmospheric place. Nice and friendly service. Delicious cake and coffee.
Went there for coffee and cake with our dogs. Sat outside and even the dogs got dog biscuits. Lovely staff. Will go back for some food. Highly recommended
