Viva Brazil Cardiff will be the latest opening from the group that successfully launched in Liverpool in 2010. Serving over 15 different cuts of Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Pork and Sausages, all slow roasted over our charcoal barbeque and expertly carved at your table by our 'Passadors'. To accompany the meats from the barbeque we offer over 20 variations of gourmet brazilian salads and vegetable, as well as a wide selection of traditional home made Brazilian stew dishes and sides.

What an amazing experience.1st time visited Saturday 5th March. Everything was explained clearly to us, how it works. Waiter was very much on the ball, friendly and attentive. Price was good for the amount of food we ate, had the chance to have a break by flipping the table mat to NO. Then when ready to eat again turn it back to YES!!!. Very clean, not busy at 12.30, by the time we left, nearly 2hrs later it was very busy, definitely going again.
Excellent service and they fitted us within 30 minutes as we hadn’t booked. I went here with my family consisting of 3 children. Greeted by a lovely guy called Clayton who explained in detail h the menu and how to order as we hand to been here before. The food was excellent and the service superb. No complaints at all, we had to remind them of a side dish we ordered twice but it was busy and didn’t bother us at all. Well deserved 5 stars
Absolutely wonderful experience. Loved to food and the ambience. And the best is, they have Halal options too. Succulent Lamb and rib eye steak. Loved the chilli chicken. Delicious cuts with Garlic sauce. If you are a meat lover, this is the place to be. Freshly grilled and unlimited. Love to go back. First the good bits, the food was fantastic and plentiful there is no denying that, however everything else was slightly off, from the lady at entrance with her feet up barely acknowledging us and telling us to go to the bar, where we were served but had to pay and not add it to the table to the service where it seemed at the wrong pace, really slow to start to a rush to serve meat to having to request dessert. There also seemed to be a language problem with incorrect sides coming and the drinks orders being questioned. Overall this place has a lot of potential once the niggling bits are sorted.
We went for the full grill experience and would go again! Sides are both healthy and unlimited. We got garlic mashed potato which was amazing and will try that at home. They bring around 15 different kinds of meat to your table and you get as much or as little as you want. Great location. Bit noisy but to be expected on a Saturday night.
I visited this place last year while COVID-19 restrictions are still affecting everything. The experience was okay to the point that I couldn’t compare it to Brazilian BBQ in Australia. However, I gave it another go recently and the quality of the food and taste were perfect. I had a very enjoyable experience. The meats, chicken, fish, the pineapple and even the side dishes were all amazing. I didn’t take pictures for the food as I didn’t expect to see this strong improvement. I came to conclusion regarding the first experience that the food quality, the taste and the service were all affected negatively and now they are back on track. Highly recommended for Brazilian BBQ Obrigado!!
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My mother and my girlfriend both wanted the four meat option instead of the ten meat which is all they offer at weekends, but management allowed them. Food is always delicious and the new way of ordering sides is still very quick and efficient
First time I've been to a Viva Brazil. I'll definitely be going back....well priced and the food is incredible. Pork, beef and chicken with more sides than you can handle. If you keep your card green then the food keeps coming until you reach all 10 courses....I was ready to explode by the time I left.
One of my favourite restaurants in Cardiff! So much choice of meats and sides. It is cheaper in a weekday lunch time vs. Weekday evening but I've ate at both times and it's been fast friendly service. You choose your sides buffet style and then the waiters come around with meat on the skewer and carve it on to your plate. You have a card which you can flip to either say 'yes more meat please' or 'no, thanks'. I love the concept and always leave this place super full. A must go for meat lovers!
I went to Viva Brazil after a friend recommended it to me, and I'm happy he did. We had the unlimited dinner set, and managed to try all the items. Some meats were better than others, but the whole experience was very nice. I especially liked the beef ribs and lamb chops. The salad bar was full of variety and the greens tasted good. Servers were very polite and helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience.
