Poor value for money. Racked up prices by 10% and lowered portion sizes so it’s now £10 for a modestly sized veg salad that doesn’t even fill the bowl
Seriously tasty salads. You get to choose your own base I always go for Quinoa so there's hardly any veg actually in it and make up whatever you want as a salad. In general the staff are cheerful and the portions are generous. Nothing really in the way of ambiance but a good place to grab lunch to take away. Downside is that it can be pretty expensive for lunch, but at least it's very filling.
The only good thing I have to say is that the tiny salad I had did taste nice and the staff were very polite that is why I gave 2 stars. However I was pretty outraged by the extremely small portion that I received today, it was not what I used to get 4-5 months ago when I’d previously gone more regularly. Way below my expectations for a £6 salad. I’m afraid I am completely put off to go back again. I did speak to the team leader at the till and politely gave my feedback and she was also very polite but I was disappointed that there was no kind of compensation offered at all.
It's scandalous the portion of their salad for the price. And if you are a girl is that mean you eat less than a boy ? Because each time I went there, I just had a lot of green leaves and nothing else, but the guy next to me was always well served ! They should have a portion spoon or something to make it equal for each customers. I will never put a foot there. They ripped us off.
Good range of salad options with regular new ingredients / salad bases to keep regulars happy. You basically get one of the nice & generally Spanish team there to build your own salad creation or choose one of the set combos. Also has nice soups & breads if you're after a liquid lunch of a healthy variety.
Stopped going here. Portion size and quality unpredictable. Some staff are great, but some are rude and unhygienic. The last straw was the hot food server sneezing into his hand, then taking a container to fill with food, grabbing it by the edge so he was actually touching the inside, without washing his hands.
Vital ingredient is one of the best places in London for customised healthy salads. The range of ingredients and combinations offered is wide. It gets very busy at lunchtime so there may be a long line but the staff is very efficient so it's definitely worth queuing a little bit. It's a great value for money judging by the size of the bowl and the quality of the ingredients if you're into healthy lunch breaks.
Where do I start with this place. This place is typical of what happens when another company buys your company. 1, changed the menu, removed loads of great options. 2,the ordering system is poor, having the staff mark off as you choose your options just like a game of bingo. Not productive 3, to pay is even a nightmare. Advice to the new owners please revert back to how things where and stop cutting to try and make money as this will effect you more as the people who come to this place will look elsewhere.
Has gone very far downhill since the takeover from tossed, will never buy from here again!! Salad was very wet from the sauce literally swimming at the bottom. Was little Chicken and what there was very small. Food was delivered upside also! Overall tasted not fresh and poor quality. Last time I order from here again
Fresh, excellent food and fast! The "nachos grande" is one of those salads you don't feel you are eating a salad. : And amazing hot food too - the Sri Lankan Curry is as comfort food as it gets. Vital is where office workers from regent/oxford street buy their take aways.
