We were nicely greeted by Veronica and Annette. We were backpacking and hitch-hiking, and they nicely helped us. They gave us a nice loop to do around the Lough Lomond and also gave us a good spot to hitchhike from the city to our next destination. They were lovely and gave us really good and helpful advice. The centre they work in is meant to close soon and that is really a pity go support them if you can. It is worth it !
Fantastic information centre. We arrived first thing on a Monday morning and the lady who helped us with maps/information/must see areas/eateries etc was just great! A font of knowledge for this area and added a multitude of other must do things to our list - not enough time so we will have to come back!!
A visit to the tourist information centre at Balloch is a must! the lady and gentleman were so friendly and helpful giving us options on what to do and where to visit in the area, hence we decided to stay and enjoyed a lovely cycle route she had recommend to Duck Bay, later in the evening we ate at the Tullie Inn lovely food, and service at a reasonable price.
I went to Balloch to explore Loch lomond. I visited Information centre where I was assisted by Annette. She is a lovely lady and provided me all the information that I need. She gave me all the leaflets with maps and made markings for attractions and trails, so that I don’t get lost. I have travelled a lot all around the world and visit scotland information centre is the best information centre I have seen and It is because of Annette and her colleague. I recommend everyone to visit their information centre if you go to Balloch. They will give you all the required information and you will not waste your time going here and there on your own. Annette and her colleague is best.
We stopped off to ask a few questions about Loch Lomond and the lady there was amazing in giving us tips about the entire Highlands. In finding out where we were going, she give us tips about each stop and exact timings to see some spectacular sights such as stags and dolphins, plus some spectacular views that were just off the beaten track. The shop was beautiful but the kindness and expertise of the staff was incredible, you couldn't reward them enough. Thank you.
what more can I say then a big thank you to Caroline, an absolutely amazing person an so helpful with everything. she gave me so much information about the area what to do where to go, I would recommend any one needing information. thank you to Caroline an the team for a wonderful memorable time in balloch.
A useful place to stop by for tourist information, and the folks are friendly and helpful. Outlining maps and routes to cover. There are free large maps available to bring along. A must visit for first timers!
Absolutely great tourism centre. Lovely, friendly staff gave us personal recommendations for the area and made us feel right at home!
I popped in while attempting to run some if the 3 path. Caroline and Veronica were very polite and helpful, informing me I'd gone in the complete opposite direction and very kindly giving me route directions for the proper path.
Caroline was so helpful and informative. We wouldn't have found our bus home if it wasn't for her. She also gave us train alternatives if we missed our bus ride home.
