The optician whose name I can’t remember was amazing and took the time to explain everything to me that was on my scans. Paulina was excellent and spent ages with me trying to find an option for my glasses that would best suit my needs and budget. Both pairs of my new glasses were ready to collect within a week and Camilla was also very helpful when I went to collect them. I’ve always dreaded going to the opticians but couldn’t recommend Southampton Vision Express in West Quay more!
Everyone very helpful. Optician took the time to explain all the tests and scans etc. got my prescription quickly and easily. Staff were helpful in going through options for glasses. Only down side was that the choice of frames could have been greater so I couldn't choose a pair at present.
I had a thorough eye test, as recently I had some issues and was referred to the eye hospital next year. Everyone was polite and the specialist explained to me in details the condition I had. I am so thankful to the team and especially the eye specialist!
I can't recommend this branch enough! I've been having my eye test done here for a while, and the professionalism, care, patience of all the members of staff are always amazing! From the opticians, to the sales consultant, everyone is welcoming, clear, and very helpful.
Eye test was handled quickly and efficiently. Optician was ready to measure the distance to my computer screen, and correctly advised me that a new prescription was not really required.
I have used this opticians for many years now. I have consistently seen the same optician many times. Staff welcome on entry, and I have had a couple of experiences where customer service has been outstanding , and without knowing this until further conversations were had. It was the same person. Iv ordered many times from a good selection of frames. My nee pair of glasses came a week early!
It’s going downhill. Been their customer since 2020 and had no issues until I had my check up on 18/08/24 but they did not update my records and my contacts supply has been paused they did not stopped charging me of course then I had to ring 4 time to explain this. This was resolved only last week as every time I explained the situation, they told me it’s sorted and all good but I still kept receiving messages and letters that my eye sight test is due. On Monday I have finally received my contacts supply after 4 weeks. Guess what? They sent me my old prescription. So I will have to ring them again and again waste my time. To get this resolved. They used to be very good though.

The booking system was very easy to use and the service was very efficient. The optician was very professional, he explained everything whilst showing images of my eyes.
Brilliant customer service, so friendly and helpful. The Optician was excellent. All of the staff made me feel comfortable and nothing is too much trouble.
