My sister gave me this adventure as a present so I took an elderly gentleman to brighten up his life. We had a thoroughly brilliant day and we acted like 2 naughty schoolboys. The ferry ride was fun as was the steam train to Corfe Castle. My friend loved our day out and so did I and we have decided to go again next summer.
I've had two vouchers as gifts, neither was fun. First gift, the hotel decided they no longer accepted the vouchers, even though there was 6 months till it expired. The website wouldn't let me rebook elsewhere and it was impossible to get hold of Virgin to sort it out, so it just got wasted.nn2nd voucher for Caffè Concerto took a dozen attempts to book, the phone number was wrong, the email inbox was full and not accepting emails, they didn't pick up, finally got through only to find the info on Virgin's website was wrong and you can't book at weekends. Finally found a branch to book at but it's so much trouble I hope noone buys me these vouchers again.
Absolutely wonderful day out. The Bluebell Railway is fabulous and the work they have done there is amazing. The Wakehurst Gardens were truly beautiful with magnificent trees and something beautiful wherever you look. The flowers in the walled garden were a riot of colour. Excellent.
Fantastic and Informative Morgan Motor Manufacturing Experience:nGive yourself plenty of time to be transported back in time and enjoy a great day out at the Morgan Motor Company's factory. Led by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, you are taken through the various stages of manufacture of the classic Morgan car range. Watch the highly skilled craftsmen form and build the car from the ground up as you listen to the guide's informative explanation. Spend time in the museum before enjoying a treat or a great afternoon tea in the Morgan café. Head to the showroom and buy your car!!
Possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. Having bought E gift vouchers as Xmas presents in good faith that I would get them in time for Xmas they did not arrive.nnI contacted Virgin Experience to ask for a re-issue of the gift vouchers. They have failed to do this.nnVirgin Experience do not have a phone line - only a chat option for an overseas customer service team who were not able to help. Despite the money leaving my bank account AND a Klarna statement Klarna are their third party payment system showing my purchase details and confirmation, Virgin’s customer services say they cannot find my order and that I am to contact Klarna. Klarna say they need a refund issue from Virgin so I am left in the loop of not knowing what to do with no help from Virgin. Virgin Experience will presumably receive the money from Klarna for my order. But I am left with no gift voucher and no refund.
