A beautiful little tea place with delicious breakfast and very polite staff i am so glad i found it out of a sudden during a walk after work
Wonderful, olde-worlde ambience. Delicious food and attentive staff. Too full after lunch so just had to bring home a couple of pieces of the lovely cakes on offer . Vegan options available. Well worth a visit.
I usually go to hotels for afternoon tea but when I found this little tea shop offering a similar product for a cheaper price I thought I would give it a go. I was not disappointed! The sandwiches were delicious. The butter in particular stood out. I would love to know where they got it from. The scones were light and fluffy and the slices of cake on top were good to. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive and seemed happy. The tea shop has a rustic feel and they even sell furniture.
I cannot recommend this cafe enough. The cakes are always phenomenal, however I struggle to fit a slice in after enjoying something off the very tasty and fresh menu. There is a lovely choice of teas and coffee. Everything is very reasonably priced. Simply put, this cafe brings joy. Staff are always lovely and helpful and excellent with allergies. Thank you for always providing a delightful experience.
Loved it! Such A lovely Small Place! Loved every second in it! Menu is good and the offer of different meals great! Good value for money. Great service. Only down point are the toilets, you need to use the staff toilet. There was no light there and it's outside. Will be back!
Lovely atmosphere and food. Excellent sized portions at reasonable prices. Mismatched crockery and cute decor - proper tea room atmosphere. It isn't over packed with tables which is nice. The staff were very helpful in regards to allergies and dietary requirements which was a nice change and very comforting. Try the cake!
Food was lovely, the tea house itself is very pretty. However we were super disappointed that after eating, we were left with dirty plates on our table for half an hour ?! We wanted to have more tea and cake, but in the end we paid and left. We originally wanted afternoon tea for my birthday but as all the sandwiches had dairy in, we opted to just buy off the menu. No member of staff came over to take our plates, we were stood looking at the cakes right near multiple members of staff and we walked around a few times but no one approached us. We gave feedback whilst there to say we were disappointed and we got an apology, but sadly we won't recommend or come back. Such a shame as it was a lovely place but this really let it down.
Our son Andrew and daughter in law Lucia treated us to a take away picnic lunch yesterday from The Tea House for Andrew's birthday. The sandwiches were beautifully presented, the fillings and bread delicious and we enjoyed trying the edible flowers! The scones were huge and some of the nicest we have ever tasted. We are looking forward to visiting Reigate again over the summer and having lunch at the Tea House Many thanks to all concerned for a great lunch!
Made a habit of going here weekly for afternoon tea. Scones were so amazing, I had to have another! The young staff are always so friendly and attentive! Very pleased with overall service and will definitely go back as soon as possible! It may be necessary to book in advance as it's always been very busy, but they've always managed to squeeze us in!
Lovely little cafe, very accommodating staff and had baby booster seats available. Surprisingly quite a busy cafe, I'd recommend making a reservation if you are looking to go around lunchtime. Lots of teas and delicious looking cake!
