Excellent place for our anniversary meal. Was offered free cocktail! Nice touch. Staff were lovely, have been a few times and always had a lovely meal. Recommended.

Visited on Sunday had a table booked for 3 o clock ..we were welcomed by a really friendly lady who took our drinks order which came within a few minutes ..we decided to sit in the lounge next to a real fire whilst we perused the menu ..We ordered and did not have to wait long before we were shown to our table in the Dining room ..staff were very attentive and we could not fault our meal ..the only complaint i had was my super duper Yorkshire Pudding was cold ..but this was soon rectified and our lovely waitress brought me a piping hot one ..We were a family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch in very nice surroundings ...at £19.99 per head we all found it was very good value and would definitely return ... We know it was a cold afternoon but felt the Dining Room needed to be warmer ..just a little thought for the Management ...

Good but very noisy. We went as a party of 4 to celebrate my wife's birthday, however there was a much larger group of girls there celebrating also. Despite the fact that they were in a private room, the door was left open and the noise they were making effectively ruled out any conversation at our table. I've now made a mental note to ask if any "events" are taking place before I book. Suggest you do the same... Food and service were excellent. Bill came to around £150 with wine.
